A.P. Moller - Maersk has recently inaugurated two dedicated warehouses at Chittagong in Bangladesh
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Her Excellency, the Royal Danish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ms Winnie Estrup Petersen, Mr Ali Musthaq Butt, Head to Trade Mission, The Royal Danish Embassy, Bangladesh along with Mr Vikash Agarwal, Managing Director of Maersk South Asia and the senior management of Maersk's partners for these projects.
These warehouses are multi-storied facilities equipped with lifts and conveyor belts which will expedite the handling of cargo. The multiple challenges faced by our customers such as lack of warehousing space, lack of skilled labourers and lack of automation that culminate in a high truck waiting time will be greatly resolved through these new facilities and the additional space that they are creating in the market.
